Below are some of our most frequently asked questions and answers. If you can’t find the answer to the question your looking for, feel free to contact us by either phone or email and we will do our best to provide an answer to your query.
Q: Will my frames discolour?
A: No. Our manufacturers give a 100% guarantee against discolouration.
Q: Who makes your frames?
A: Our high quality frames are produced by John Fredericks Plastics, based in Huddersfield, who have been in business over 40 years. We have been with the same manufacturer for well over 25 years, which is testament to how good a supplier they have been to us. They are also a British Company!
Q: What is your general lead time?
A: We usually have a 3-4 week lead time, though this can sometimes change depending on the time of year i.e. during the busier summer months. But we always endeavour to service your requirements as soon as possible.
Q: What is your guarantee period?
A: We give a 10 year guarantee, which is then underwritten by an insurance backed guarantee for extra peace of mind (terms and conditions apply).
Q: What is your highest energy rating on your windows?
A: Our highest energy rating available on our windows and fully glazed doors is A+5. We are constantly working to improve on our energy efficiency ratings.
Q: Does my conservatory need planning permission?
A: Most conservatories usually need planning permission. Before full plans are submitted we consult with the relevant local planning department to ascertain whether or not the proposed conservatory will need planning permission or not. If it does, we have a full plans/drawings service in which we submit all the relevant plans and paperwork for you.
If it doesn’t need planning permission, we can get to work straight away.
Q: Do you do a supply only service?
A: We have both a supply and installation, and a supply only service for those wanting to fit windows and doors themselves.
Q: Do you use your own fitters?
A: Yes, we use our own fitters. We only use installers that have had experience in the industry, and fit to our highest standards.
Q: Do you have any special offers?
A: We don’t have any special offers. All a ‘discount’ stands for is money added on to the final cost, then taken back off again, described as an ‘offer’ or ‘discount’. You aren’t actually saving any money!

Q: Do you have a showroom?
A: We have a superb outdoor conservatory showsite, and an excellent indoor window and door showroom upstairs in our main building.

Q: What areas do you cover?
A: Mainly the Wakefield and Leeds areas, but we carry out work to all areas of the Yorkshire region.
Q: What are your opening hours?
A: Our opening hours are:
Mon-Fri: 9-5:30pm
Sat: 9:30-4:30pm
Sun: 11-4pm
Q: Is finance available?
A: Yes finance is available (subject to terms and conditions).
