Over the past 18 months, there have been significant prices increases across all areas of the double glazing industry.
Glass costs have rocketed, rising at least four times. The costs of all hardware, ranging from letter boxes to hinges and door handles, has risen twice and by over 15%. PVCu costs are also now seeing steep rises due to the rising cost of oil, as PVCu is made from oil. And we all know how expensive it is now to fill up the car with petrol!
Despite these material cost increases, B & P Windows are pleased to say that our prices have stayed the same! We understand that the cost of living is going up, and that home improvements still need doing. Which is why we have chosen to absorb these cost increases, to make sure that we can give you our best possible price for what are high quality and very energy efficient products.
We will continue to hold off any further price increases for as long as we can, ensuring that our customers pay the best price possible!
