Over the last few months we have been very busy making various updates to both our impressive outdoor show site which displays our conservatories and Loggia, as well as our stunning window and door showroom in our main building!

The changes we have made to our outdoor show site have been significant. We have replaced our old Rosewood conservatory for a stunning new Black wood grain Loggia.

Our Black wood grain Loggia boasts a self-cleaning glass roof, which dries dirt when the sun shines, and then cleans itself via a chemical reaction when it rains. Its a very simple but effective way of keeping your glass roof clean without having to get up there yourself! The Loggia is also white on the inside. It means a nice clean, fresh and bright look, no matter what the external colour of your Loggia of the house’s existing windows and doors.

The thermal efficiency of the Loggia is also very impressive, matching and even beating the U-values of a brick-built extension. Heat is an important thing to consider when building something like this as you don’t want it to be an extra drain on your heating bills, they are high enough as it is!

The Loggia combines the looks and character of traditional, old-fashioned yet substantial design and build quality, with the low maintenance PVCu and aluminium brings. The best way to understand this is to see it for yourself. Come down to our showsite and let the Loggia show you how much character and value it could add to your home!

We have also been busy updating our stock of doors…

We have installed a range of very high quality, specially designed engineered doors in our specialist window and door showroom. The designs you see above, as well as many of the others we have on display, have been created to look just like many of the traditional wooden doors of old. Everything from the glass, mullions and midrail depths, wood grains and colours have been specifically designed to look just like their timber counterparts, but with all the advantages that a high quality PVCu door brings.

We have noticed over the past couple of years that the demand for traditional looking doors has been on the increase, and we believe that our range of special engineered doors suits those needs and requirements perfectly!

And carrying on that theme of timber looking products, we are very privileged and very excited to announce that we now have a range of timber-alternative windows and doors that we believe match to every detail traditional joinery.

As you can see from the image above, this is how our Evolution Storm 2 windows and doors are put together, by mechanically joining the frames. This is how traditional timber windows and doors were made so it is only right that their PVCu wood grain counter parts are done in the same fashion.

Traditional as well as contemporary ironmongery is also a feature which our Storm 2 timber-alternative windows and doors boast. Whilst a lot of important detail has been given to the wood grain effects and frame construction, the handles and hinges are what really finish off these windows perfectly. Putting a standard PVCu style handle on one of these windows would simply not do it any justice. These ‘monkey tailed’ handles and the working peg stay that go with it really does complete that authentic timber look and can transform the look of your property!
